Thumbs Up Nail Wraps Mani

Image
Happy Monday Everyone. A while back I purchased some nail wraps from Thumbs Up Nails (I will leave all the links below) I loved all the different designs they had and how it was instant nail art but I have been putting off using them as to be honest I was a little bit scared! So over the weekend I decided to use some nail wraps to create my mani and I don't know why I was worried they were so easy to use. So here's my step by step - 1) For this mani I used the Thumbs up Nail Wraps called Rors Chach you also get a file and orange stick with them which you need, Grace-full polish in Grape Gumdrop (a rainbow connection exclusive) Glisten and Glow HK girl topcoat from RC and Leighton Denny one for all. 2) I painted 2 coats of Grape Gumdrop on my chosen finger and 1 coat of One for All on my ring finger and thumb (you don't have to base coat the full nails but I did!) (and yes I do have extensions on because my nails were making me sad) 3) Take the chosen nail wrap

Indie Brand of the Week 3 Celestial Cosmetics

Image
Hello all you Lovelies. Sorry I am a day late with this post this week but I was busy yesterday, hopefully its worth the wait. So as you all know I am a huge fan of Indie Brands and I'm always looking for new ones to try and thanks to the lovely Annette from Rainbow Connection I am never short of brands and polished to try! So this week is another new brand for me and also a new brand to RC - I purchased these on the launch night a few weeks ago. It is Aussie Indie Brand Celestial Cosmetics. Firstly I have to say I absolutely love the brands logo and I think that's what drew me to it but I can safely say the polishes don't disappoint. But 1st a little bit about the brand - as I said they are an Aussie Brand and they are 5 free. This is what they say on their website  Picture Credit - www.celestialcosmetics.com.au So these are the 2 I purchased from Rainbow Connection 1st up is Celebrate with NYX - This is a stunning aqua/turquoise linear holo.

Stamping Decals on my Uberchic Mat

Image
Happy Sunday Nail Girls. Hope you are having a great weekend! Today I am blogging about one of my newest purchases but definitely a favourite. Last week the lovely Sarah of She Sells Seashells announced she had stocked the new Uberchic Mat (plates are coming soon) so I knew I had to get one as I was wary of ordering direct as I know a lot of UK girls have had custom charges and for £11 it was a no brainer! So this mat is silicon and perfect for making decals, testing polishes, comparing colours, swatches and I'm sure lots of other things, Its also safe to use acetone on so easy to clean up but the dried polish just peels right off. So here's what I did - 1st I used my Leighton Denny one for all to paint in the nails on the mat, you can see in the picture where I have polished, This is the top of the decal and means it will peel right off. While they were drying - they need to be completely dry, I got my other bits out. For this I used Fab Ur Nails FUN14 plate

Hi again, This is the 1st post in a series I am going to do. The 1st brand I am featuring is a relatively new UK indie brand - Charming Tale Nail polish which has been created by @leasnails. This brand is a 5 free vegan friendly brand, with prices starting at £3.30 for a mini bottle. So far Leah has created 2 collections - The Fairy Godmother Collection and The Fairest of them all Collection  The Fairest of them all Collection Picture Credit Instagram @charmingtale The Fairy Godmother Collection Picture Credit Instagram @charmingtale There are also some nail care items including a peel off base coat and latex for around the nail to make clean up easy when doing nail art Picture Credit charmingtale.co.uk So already a lot to choose from for such a new Ind

Hi Lovelies, This is the 1st of 2 blogposts for tonight but I had to share this beautiful polish with you all. A couple of months ago the lovely Leah Ann of Colors by Llarowe announced she would be releasing and polish of the month on the 1st of every month. As a huge CBL fan (I now own 60 and counting!) this was very exciting news to me and I knew I would have to get my order in every month Luckily for us UK girlies the amazing Annette from Rainbow Connection was on hand to ensure we could get our hands on them. Now this is the 2nd months polish and at 8pm on the 1st September I was logging into my RC account to order this beauty, And here it is -  Taken In a Lightbox Taken with a Flash So this gorgeous colour is called Talk to the Hand and honestly I haven't stopped looking at it.
