Top 4 RC Purchases - Purple

Image
Happy Easter Everyone, Hope you have all had a huge amount of chocolate and are having a nice long weekend. I am back with my Top 4 RC purples today and actually I found this one quite difficult because surprisingly I don't seem to own that many purples! Now I'm sure your all expecting to see Berry Good Looking in this post but I am saving that for something else but there are some very special polishes in this post. So here they are - 1st up from Glam Polish is a store exclusive from last summer. Amethyst Dusk is a pretty Lavender purple with a blue shimmer. I was actually on holiday when this was released and I had to make sure I had Wi-Fi at 8pm to get this before it sold out - I'm a dedicated RC junkie!! Sadly this has now sold out but it's still a stunner. This is an extra special one too because it had been on my wish list for a long time and just before my 30th birthday I gave my dad a list and just put Any Bear Pawlish and because he clearly k...

Top 4 RC purchases - Green

Image
Hello and here I am for another top 4 RC installment. Now I'm sure your all wondering how my no buy is going well you will be pleased to know that I have been failing miserably!! but I am trying to buy less and that is going slightly better - personally I blame Annette for encouraging me to part with my pennies! This week I am showcasing my top 4 greens. I have only just become a big green fan but it has overtaken pink on my favourite colour list and I find its a colour I love to wear at the moment. It was actually really easy to choose my top 4 because I currently have some greens I adore - so here they are. The Happily Ever After collection from Aussie Indie Grace-Full polish was my 1st from this brand and Charming Frog is a pastel green holo, in some lights it looks aquamarine and other turquoise but it's definitely green because it has frog in the name and they are green! This is going to be perfect for spring. Another Aussie brand and the 1st appearance of P...

Hi Lovelies, Sorry I have been a bit MIA recently between starting a new job and Christmas prep I have been spreading myself a little thin and haven't had chance to write this post but finally here it is. The final PTR box of December and it really is another goody. This month was all about Christmas movies and lets be honest who doesn't spend most of December watching Christmas films! So joining our PTR residents Colors by Llarowe and Bear Pawlish this month were Cupcake Polish, Lilypad Lacquer and UK Indie Dark Metal Laquer in a box that finished off the year perfectly First from Dark Metal Lacquer is a hot chocolate brown holo with gold flakies inspired by Love Actually. This polish is called To me you are Perfect. Lilypad Lacquer created this amazing baby lilac holo inspired by The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about Christmas called Magic in the Air. It wouldn't be Christmas without a bit of gold and this is a very sophisticated and easy to wea...

Paint The Rainbow Box November

Image
Well polish fans it's that time of the month again (although a little bit early this month) my November Paint the Rainbow box arrived this morning and I was so excited by this box that I had to swatch ASAP! Well the 1st thing I can tell you about this box is that just like all the others this one is incredible, all 5 polishes are gorgeous so Annette and all 5 makers give yourselves a pat on the back because yet again you have outdone yourselves. This months theme was Disney Villains and as a huge Disney fan I couldn't wait to see where the makers took their inspiration from, The box featured our regulars CBL and Bear Pawlish and Julieann of UK brand Freckles was back but this month we had 2 brands making their debut and they have fitted in superbly. Here are the 5 inspiration pictures the makers chose -  There are some real evil villains in there but there is nothing evil about these colours! Here is this months box and we also saw the debut of the new bags...these ...

Paint the Rainbow Box October

Hi Nail Fans, Firstly I must apologise I promised 3 posts last week but only managed one, unfortunately I had computer issues but I'm back and I have been itching to write this post so here it is. Last week I received my 3rd Paint the Rainbow box, the UK indie box created by the lovely Annette from Rainbow Connection. This month the theme of the box was Tim Burton Movies as chosen by my lovely friend Karl. Now I said the September box was the best, most amazing box but....I spoke to soon because these boxes just get better and better. Annette has created something spectacular and the polish makers keep pulling something special out of the bag for us...I bow down to them in awe. So here are the inspiration pictures for the box, The Fair Maiden girls went with Beetle Juice, the lovely Tennessee of Bear Pawlish chose Edward Scissorhands, Leah Ann of CBL went with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, our UK indie Dark Metal Lacquer took inspiration from Corpse Bride and last but n...

The 5 brands featured this month are UK indie Freckles Polish, the 2 permanent contributors US Indies Bear Pawlish and CBL and Aussie Indie Grace-Full Polish and Hong Kong Indie Too Fancy Lacquer - All brands I already know and Love. Somehow this box ended up being a Blue Affair and any of you that know me well know I am a sucker for a blue polish so I was bound to love this box but even I'm surprised by just how much I love them all. So lets get showing these stunners!! An...
