ILNP Summer Collection Swatches

Image
Happy Friday Everyone, I'm desperately trying to work through lots of my untried products and swatches to bring you all more blog posts. The swatches I have for you this evening are some polishes I have had for a few weeks now and as with a lot of my new purchases got written in my swatch book and then put in the new and untried pile!! Well I have now put this right. ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) is a boutique nail lacquer from America and I got mine from UK indie stockist  Rainbow Connection , I chose to get 4 polishes from this collection, 2 nudes and 2 blues (obviously!) First up is Peachy Queen - This is a sheer soft peach with the most beautiful rainbow holographic sparkle - I couldn't get over how sparkly it was! its also shot through with micro gold flakes that gives it a really sophisticated look. In my opinion this is a really easy to wear polish so for day-to-day its perfect, its a stunning nude but the sparkle really sets it off. You can purchase this polis...

CBL - New Winter Collection

Image
So Polish guys and gals, when I see the words New CBL collection I get just a little bit excited and really do want to dance around the room because Leah Ann is a goddess in my eyes...her polishes are always something special and I just cant say no to the holo goodness of Colors by Llarowe! So when Annette announced they would be on Rainbow Connection last week I checked out the swatches and somehow limited myself to 7 - I have since decided I need 3 others though!!! Ok 1st up is Hot Buttered Rum a gorgeous pale gold/nude holo. Any Harry Potter fans out there? - I imagine Butterbeer would be this colour! I nearly didn't get this but so glad I changed my mind. Jewel of Denial was another I nearly didn't get but I decided I did need it. It's hard to pick up from this picture but this is an Emerald Green with blue undertones, the flash really picks up the blue in it. Top of my wish list was Ice Ice Baby - think the name says it all really, and icy/sky blue hol...

CBL - Polish of the Month

Image
Hi Lovelies, This is the 1st of 2 blogposts for tonight but I had to share this beautiful polish with you all. A couple of months ago the lovely Leah Ann of Colors by Llarowe announced she would be releasing and polish of the month on the 1st of every month. As a huge CBL fan (I now own 60 and counting!) this was very exciting news to me and I knew I would have to get my order in every month Luckily for us UK girlies the amazing Annette from Rainbow Connection was on hand to ensure we could get our hands on them. Now this is the 2nd months polish and at 8pm on the 1st September I was logging into my RC account to order this beauty, And here it is -  Taken In a Lightbox Taken with a Flash So this gorgeous colour is called Talk to the Hand and honestly I haven't stopped looking at it. Leah Ann does the most amazing holo polishes and this one is spectacular! Its described as a blue toned deep magenta intense linear holo with purple flame and micro ...

CBL Fall 2015

Image
Hello Lovely Ladies. Now I am going to hold my hands up now and say "I am a Nail Addict!" This week I have received a lot of polish and I'm already planning my next lot of orders!!! But when I show you what I got you will all understand why. My favourite Indie brand released its latest collection on good old Rainbow Connection on Saturday and after a lot of time debating which 3 i would get - I was only allowing myself 3, I settled on 5 (there may have been wine involved!) and a top coat. So here they are - Rare Orchid - This is a purple/pink holo - my sister said Raspberry. It dries slightly matte but is supper shiny with a top coat. Rain - A bright blue holo - I think peacock or cobalt blue. This is the same finish as Rare Orchid so I definitely recommend a top coat. Memories of You -  A silver/grey holo with a pink undertone. This made me think of a misty winters morning. Again it has the same finish as the 1st 2 so top coat! The...

Hello Nail Fanatics. As you probably learnt from my last post I am a big fan of the online shop Rainbow Connection and it is definitely the source of a lot of my polish collection especially some of my much love indie. In my last couple of orders I received some of the new Cupcake Polish Collection and I am going to share my swatches with you today. But first a bit about Cupcake Polish - They are a US based Indie Polish maker making hand mixed 3-free polishes in the most stunning glitter and holo finishes. So here are the polishes I swatched - First up we have Copa Girls - This has to be one of the most stunning purple polishes I have seen with micro holo glitter in blue purple and red and silver flakies it really is beautiful. Next is Foiles Bergere - This is a gunmetal black/grey again with micro holo glitters in rainbow colours and silver flakies - another stunner in my opinion. And finally Bluebell Girls This blue is shot through with micro holo glitter...
