Lucky Dip Pink Meebox
Hi Guys,
Sorry I've been quiet I've had a bad back and been unable to swatch but I'm back now and I have several blogposts planned for this week.
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a giveaway on Instagram which was run but Meebox and @devinenails30 and my prize was a Meebox and some of Devinenails hand painted false nails. My Meebox arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it, if you haven't heard of them they are a monthly nail subscription box and each month come with themed polishes and nail goodies (I will leave links below)
The box I won was a Lucky Dip Pink Box which was created for breast cancer awareness and 10% of the sales were going towards the Look Good Feel Better charity.
So here is my box -
As you can see I got 3 polishes plus some dotting tools, pink ribbon nail vinyls from Nail-Mail, a cnd nail file and some swatch sticks and its all came beautifully wrapped in the most gorgeous tissue paper.
The Polishes
So the 1st on I swatched is a CND Vinylux polish, this is a brand I have been keen to try for a while and this colour was a great colour to get me started, this is Tutti Frutti
The Picture shows 2 coats and in my light box.
Another brand I havent tried and this is Nailberry and the colour Bubblegum. I really liked this colour as it is slightly dusky and a very grown up pink - a very easy to wear colour.
Again 2 coats in my lightbox
The final polish is Cuccio Fever of Love and again this is another new brand to me, This polish is a glitter topper and can be seen on my ring and middle fingers in the above swatches. You could build up more coats to get a fuller coverage but I used 1 coat and you can see the large and small glitter particles.
I couldn't have all these goodies and not create some nail art so I used everything in the box to do this mani. I sponged on the Cuccio glitter to give a gradient effect, used the dotting tools to create hearts and added the ribbon vinyls.
This is a fantastic box and all the polishes are beautiful and colours I will get a lot of wear out of.
To find out more about Meebox check out www.meebox.co.uk they are also on Facebook just search MeeboxUK or on Instagram @meeboxuk.
The nail vinyls can be purchased here - www.nail-mail.co.uk they are also on Facebook at Nail Mail Stencils and Instagram @nailstencils.
If you decide to subscribe to Meebox you will not be disappointed, it is a fab box for nailoholics.
