New Creative Stamper

Happy New Year Nail Lovers.

I hope you all had a great time last night and that it was a great start to 2016 for you all.

Today I have a review of the new Creative Stamper which I purchased from Rainbow Connection recently.
The original Creative Stamper was the 1st one I got when I finally mastered stamping and it was always my go to stamper but more recently I have preferred a more squishy stamper so don't use it so much so I was excited to try this.

So I decided to get a black and a white stamper - well you have to don't you! and I got ones with a blue shimmer to them.


They are bigger than the original and definitely much squishier, they remind me of memory foam the way the pop back into shape




They feel different to any other stamper I have tried, they aren't sticky but they feel good.

So I thought I'd have a quick try and perfect pick up first time - no priming required! I gave them both a quick clean by pressing onto my lint roller to remove and dust and other bits.

1st I tried pressing the stamper onto the image to pick it up and then I tried rolling it and there was no difference - both ways picked up perfectly amd only needed light pressure.


I pressed my nail into the stamper to transfer but I also slightly rolled it around to make sure my whole nail was covered with the image, again the transfer was perfect. 

I used the flexible scraper that came with the stamper and it is probably my favourite scraper, you only need to apply light pressure when scraper the excess away.

This stamper is brilliant, if you are someone who really struggles to get the hang of stamping I recommend this one to you - to me it seems there is no wrong way to use it, and it is big enough for really long nails.

Barry M Molten Metal Swatches

Hello Again, Today on my blog I have swatches of the 5 new Barry M Molten Metal polishes. I never tried the original 4 which were released last year but I decided I liked the look of these so would give them a try. I got them on 2 for £7 from Boots but they are also available from Superdrug (I will leave links below) Barry M are probably my favourite high street brand and I like a lot of their finishes and different effects. What I also loved about these are the big, flat brushes because I really find they help get an even coat across the nail in minimal brush strokes. As with all the Barry M polishes I have tried I couldn't find any fault with the formula - they applied like a dream, I'd forgotten just how much I like them if I'm honest - they are just as amazing as some of my favourite indie brands. Poundland Make Up Gallery Nail Polish

Happy Sunday Nail Lovelies. A few weeks back I was in Poundland and I thought while I was there I would grab a few polishes and bits to review, for £1 each I thought i'd have a try. I settled on 3 of the pastel creme colours, a glitter, the base/top coat and a cuticle oil so in total £6 which is less that 1 of my favourite indie polishes! I started by applying the glitter to my little and index finger - I did this over a peel off base coat because I hate glitter removal! Peel off bases are amazing invention, I am currently using the Miss Sporty one which I have found pretty good, I don't really have the same polish on for long enough to do a good wear test though! Anyway the glitter I chose was a clear/silver holo, very pretty and very sparkly and I did like how it looked over my peach acrylics. How to apply Magpie Products

It's a new week and I hope you all have some gorgeous manicures planned. I was meant to post this on Friday but things got in the way but at least I am posting!! I will get on top of my blogging schedule soon...I promise!! So as a nail technician I like to use lots of different products and currently one of my most popular is Magpie Beauty glitters and dusts. These are the most amazing sparkly products that can really bling up a manicure, they are fab so today I'm going to show you how I use them with gel polish. I am going to show the application technique for glitter, dust and pigments.
