Fab ur Nails - FUN 26 Swatches & Review

Hi Guys,

Well after 6 plates in 6 weeks I have now come to my last swatch and review post for the new Fab ur Nails plates that were sent to me for review by the wonderful Annette of Rainbow Connection.

Over these 6 weeks I have well and truly put these plates through their paces and tested them with virtually every stamping polish brand and stamper I own and I can honestly say this brand is amazing!
I cannot find a single fault with any of the plates I was sent - they honestly tick every single box

  • Beautifully etched so flawless pick up every time - even the fine lines
  • Great image size so usable with long nails (which I had for the 1st 3 plates)
  • But no too big that short nails lose out (mine were cut half way through!)
  • Variety - there really is an image for everyone and everything
  • Worked perfectly with all stamping polish brands and stampers that I tried
So my final overview is if you are still on the fence with this brand don't be, I definitely recommend trying these plates.

So this final post is to show off FUN 26 and again its another great plate!

As this was a product review for Rainbow Connection all the polishes and products used were from the store - some may not be available anymore but trust me there are plenty of alternatives and new products being added all the time.

Here are some of the beautiful images from this plate - here I have used my go to Fab ur Nails Jumbo Squishy Stamper available here and a selection of polishes from EDK, Hit the Bottle, Colour Alike and Twinkled T.

My Creations

For this I used Colour Alike Kind of White for the base then added some double stamping 1st with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and then and ombre of Painted Polish Stamped in Guava, Mint and Taro.

ILNP Home Sweet Home was the base here, on the index and little finger I stamped with EDK Juno & Carmelo and I reverse stamped the flowers from my clear stamper with Midnight Mischief and filled them in with Glisten & Glow Today is your Day and Your Mountain is Waiting.

I created a sponged gradient base using Colors by Llarowe Ornamental & Caribbean Holiday before stamping with Colour Alike Kind of White.

I used some of my Grace-Full holos for this watermarble base - Knight Silver Lake, Princess Rose and Amethyst the Unicorn and stamped with Midnight Mischief.

I was in a watermarble mood with this plate and created another one here using Glisten & Glow Today is your Day and Great Balancing Act with Cirque Colors Electric Daisy and stamped with Midnight Mischief.

Finally I did an ombre base (not that you can see!!) with some golden oldies - Smitten Polish Ignis Opal & Aer Opal (these are lush for summer) then double stamped with Midnight Mischief and Twinkled T So Extra.

So there are my final creations.

The other products used in all of these and again all from RC are - Zap skin protector, Clean up Brush and Glisten & Glow HK girl and I recommend all of these for your stamping kit.

I hope you have enjoyed my posts on these plates - please check out the others on my blog so you can see all the gorgeous plates.
And thank you to Annette for sending them to me - I hope I have done them justice.
