Uberchic Collection 19 Swatches & Review

*PR SAMPLE*

Hey Guys,

Annette of Rainbow Connection very kindly sent me the new Uberchic plate collection that has released today (7th July) so obviously I had to do my usual and have some fun with it!

Uberchic collections always impress me and I feel they are great value for money - because for £21.99 you get 3 plates full of so many images in a variety of sizes so the there is heaps of potential nail art looks.
You get full nail images, large images, the small individual ones for accent nails and the very latest layered images so 1 collection can create more looks than I can possible count!!

So when I got this collection my head was buzzing with ideas the 1st plate is full of great summer images including lots of layering ones and the other 2 have the biggest variety of patterns and things including some of my favourite negative space images I honestly didn't know what I wanted to do 1st!!

Here is collection 19 -

So to get things started I have just a few swatches from each plate -

Collection 19-01

Collection 19-02

Collection 19-03

These were done with a selection of various stamping polish brands and you can see just how well they pick up from these plates and like I said so much variety.

So to get started I have created 6 different manicures (2 for each plate) I will be doing plenty more though as there are so many other images I want to work with!

Plate 01-

I loved these 2 smiley face images that I needed to incorporate them both so I started with a base of EDK andromeda then on my index and pinky went over with my yellow Asda gellie (the only non RC polish used) before stamping the negative space image. On the other 2 I stamped the larger image and filled in the faces with the yellow gellie and a dotting tool.
The black stamping polish is Twinkled T black.

This plate was full of summer images so I had to showcase one of them I did a sponged gradient using EDK Zilda, Dixie, Wendy and Zack (these are great for sponging as it only takes a couple of layers for full coverage) I then stamped with the Twinkled T white and decided this one needed to be matte!

Plate 02 -

In the bottom corner there is a gorgeous round almost frame image and I personally thought it was beautiful so decided to stamp it over and ombre of Painted Polish V-Necks & Vinyls and From Brooklyn with Love. I chose different parts of the image so each nail is different and I love images that give you that option. The stamping polish was Twinkled T black.

I loved this doodly rose image and decided it needed playing with so I decided to try something a bit different. I used my mini Ubermat to make some decals. I put a generous coat of Colour Alike Kind of White and while it was wet I added blobs of polish then with a fine brush I dragged through the polish to create an almost firework look - I wanted abstract, doodly and not perfect for this and I loved the results. When dry I peeled off and stuck onto a tacky coat of the same white before stamping with Twinkled T black.
The polishes used are Cupcake Polish - Lord Licorice, Mr Mint, Queen Frostine, Jolly and Princess Lolly

Plate 03 -

Blackberries - I absolutely loved the 3 blackberry images especially the negative space ones so just had to use this image. I did a smooshy base on my ubermat using Glisten and Glow 98 & 1/2 percent guaranteed, S'mores and Sing Alongs and EDK Medusa which I picked up on my stamper before stamping with Twinkled T black again!!

And finally this image reminded me of 2 things Jacks and The Big Bang Theory!! I decided I needed to go neon and fancied a bit of double stamping. For the base I used 1 coat of the Twinkled T black then 1st I stamped with the Twinkled T silver before stamping a 2nd time with a random ombre of Colour Alike Electric Orange, Yellow Glow, Fuchsia Flash, Cobalt Kick and Purple Rain.

And there are my 1st 6 manis with this collection - I hope you like them.

The other essentials I use when stamping are -
  • Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat
  • Zap skin protector
  • RC clean up brush
  • Fab ur Nails Jumbo Squishy Stamper
  • 2 in 1 Crystal Embellished Clear Stamper
  • RC mini scrapers
So my final thoughts of this collection - Its another great one from Uberchic they are great quality plates with endless nail art possibilities and I definitely recommend this brand.

Next week I will have 3 videos on my youtube channel (1 for each plate) I will be swatching the plates and creating 1 look with and image from each one so if you haven't already please check my channel out.

This collection and a lot more Uberchics are available now at Rainbow Connection and all the polishes I used were also from there.

Thank you for taking the time to read - I hope you have liked this post. Please leave me any comments below.

Love
Helen aka Cinderhellie xx
