Saturday Stamping (On Wednesday!) Femme Fatale & Yours

So I am late again....but here is my weekend stamping mani.

For this manicure I used Femme Fatale Wine and Dandy - This is and exclusive from Rainbow Connection, Colour Alike B a Mars, Glisten and Glow HK Girl and Creative Shop space stamper all also from RC and Yours YS12 stamping plate.



1st 2 coats of Wine and Dandy and a coat of HK girl top coat. This polish is a gorgeous sparkly deep purple colour and my 1st from FF - it wont be my last, the formula, coverage and dry time is brilliant.

I then used my liquid latex around the nail to make clean up easier.

Before I apply stamping polish to the plate I give it a clean with acetone, then apply the polish to my chosen image, scrape away the excess, and pick up using the stamper.
This stamper gets a perfect pick up just from lightly pressing down on the image.



After I have stamped on my nail I clean the excess off my stamper with a lint roller and wipe my plate with acetone.

Here is one hand complete - then peel off the liquid latex.
I use acetone and a wah clean up brush just to tidy up any polish thats left and this brush is perfect to get a crisp, clean line.

Once both hands are done I always top coat with my absolute favourite - HK girl, by floating this on it keeps my stamping looking perfect - NO SMUDGING!

Happy Sunday Nail Lovelies. A few weeks back I was in Poundland and I thought while I was there I would grab a few polishes and bits to review, for £1 each I thought i'd have a try. Semilac Hybrid Gel Polish Swatches and Review

Hi Everyone, A few weeks ago I was sent some gel polishes from Semilac UK to swatch and review, unfortunately my current illness hasn't been playing ball so this review has been a bit delayed but I wanted to give them a wear test before posting anything as I hadn't tried them before. Barry M Molten Metal Swatches

Hello Again, Today on my blog I have swatches of the 5 new Barry M Molten Metal polishes. I never tried the original 4 which were released last year but I decided I liked the look of these so would give them a try. I got them on 2 for £7 from Boots but they are also available from Superdrug (I will leave links below) Barry M are probably my favourite high street brand and I like a lot of their finishes and different effects. What I also loved about these are the big, flat brushes because I really find they help get an even coat across the nail in minimal brush strokes. As with all the Barry M polishes I have tried I couldn't find any fault with the formula - they applied like a dream, I'd forgotten just how much I like them if I'm honest - they are just as amazing as some of my favourite indie brands.
