Top 4 RC purchases - Green

Hello and here I am for another top 4 RC installment.

Now I'm sure your all wondering how my no buy is going well you will be pleased to know that I have been failing miserably!! but I am trying to buy less and that is going slightly better - personally I blame Annette for encouraging me to part with my pennies!

This week I am showcasing my top 4 greens. I have only just become a big green fan but it has overtaken pink on my favourite colour list and I find its a colour I love to wear at the moment.

It was actually really easy to choose my top 4 because I currently have some greens I adore - so here they are.


The Happily Ever After collection from Aussie Indie Grace-Full polish was my 1st from this brand and Charming Frog is a pastel green holo, in some lights it looks aquamarine and other turquoise but it's definitely green because it has frog in the name and they are green! This is going to be perfect for spring.

Another Aussie brand and the 1st appearance of Picture Polish. This was released just before Christmas and it is a gorgeous festive green. Glitch is and emerald jelly holo green .

Well there had to be a CBL in my top 4 didn't there! This is from the new Krispy Kremes Dreams collection and it is spectacular. Bananas and Krispy Kremes are better than HBO is an electric lime green holo and i'm just mesmerized by it - A-MA-ZING!!!

And finally created by Bear Pawlish this was in the November Disney Villains PTR box. Scar was my absolute favourite from this box and it is a lime green holo with orange/gold flame shimmer, it is another amazing stand out green.

Barry M Molten Metal Swatches

Hello Again, Today on my blog I have swatches of the 5 new Barry M Molten Metal polishes. I never tried the original 4 which were released last year but I decided I liked the look of these so would give them a try. I got them on 2 for £7 from Boots but they are also available from Superdrug (I will leave links below) Barry M are probably my favourite high street brand and I like a lot of their finishes and different effects. What I also loved about these are the big, flat brushes because I really find they help get an even coat across the nail in minimal brush strokes. As with all the Barry M polishes I have tried I couldn't find any fault with the formula - they applied like a dream, I'd forgotten just how much I like them if I'm honest - they are just as amazing as some of my favourite indie brands. So the swatches - Blue Glacier - Well you must know me and blues by now and this one has definitely got the thumbs up from me! I think the name sums it up perfect

Poundland Make Up Gallery Nail Polish

Happy Sunday Nail Lovelies. A few weeks back I was in Poundland and I thought while I was there I would grab a few polishes and bits to review, for £1 each I thought i'd have a try. I settled on 3 of the pastel creme colours, a glitter, the base/top coat and a cuticle oil so in total £6 which is less that 1 of my favourite indie polishes! I started by applying the glitter to my little and index finger - I did this over a peel off base coat because I hate glitter removal! Peel off bases are amazing invention, I am currently using the Miss Sporty one which I have found pretty good, I don't really have the same polish on for long enough to do a good wear test though! Anyway the glitter I chose was a clear/silver holo, very pretty and very sparkly and I did like how it looked over my peach acrylics. How to apply Magpie Products

It's a new week and I hope you all have some gorgeous manicures planned. I was meant to post this on Friday but things got in the way but at least I am posting!! I will get on top of my blogging schedule soon...I promise!! So as a nail technician I like to use lots of different products and currently one of my most popular is Magpie Beauty glitters and dusts. These are the most amazing sparkly products that can really bling up a manicure, they are fab so today I'm going to show you how I use them with gel polish. I am going to show the application technique for glitter, dust and pigments. Here are the products I am using -  Gel Polish in Black, White and Pale Green  Magpie Products - Dust - Olive, Glitter - Eartha, Pigment - Izzy I only used my applicator and duster brush but I also have the detailer brush.
